Company establishment in Latvia

The company registration process in Latvia is not very complicated, but the potential company owners and board members need to come to Latvia for two days or make two visits to Latvia. Establishing limited liability company in Latvia, the minimum capital amount is 2000,- LVL (2846,- EUR), but at first owner can put in half (1000,- LVL) of the company`s capital and in one year put rest of the capital amount.

The registration procedure:

First day:

• Open temporary bank account and cash in the company`s capital;
• Sign all documents by the Latvian Notary;
• Submit registration documents in Latvia Commercial register.

Second day:

• Take out Certificate of registration;
• Set up the Business bank account for the company;
• Sign documents for VAT certificate.

• Service for VAT certificate – 140 EUR
• State fees and publication fees – 124 LVL (177 EUR)
• Notary fee – 28 EUR
• Bank account – 14 EUR
